Volga

Đài TH HTV đã có một ký sự dài về volga với dòng ký sự " Trở lại volga". Ký sự đã cung cấp quá đầy đủ thông tin về dòng sông nổi tiếng của đất nước Nga này. Ngoài tên con sông nổi tiếng, người Nga còn đặt cho dòng xe sang trọng của họ cũng tên Volga. Ta ngắm lại con sông xinh đẹp này cùng với 1 nền văn hóa Đông Âu vĩ đại.
 Sông Volga (tiếng Nga: Волга река) nằm ở miền tây nước Nga là con sông dài nhất châu Âu, với độ dài 3.690 km (2.293 dặm), tạo thành nền tảng của hệ thống sông lớn nhất ở châu Âu.
 Bắt nguồn từ vùng đồi Valdai ở cao độ 225 m (740 ft) trên mực nước biển ở phía tây bắc Moskva và cách Sankt-Peterburg khoảng 320 km về phía đông nam, sông Volga chảy về phía đông, qua các tỉnh và thị thành như Tver, Dubna, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan. Từ đây nó chuyển hướng về phía nam, chảy qua Tolyatti, Samara và Volgograd để sau đó đổ vào biển Caspi ở phía dưới Astrakhan với cao độ 28 mét dưới mực nước biển. Ở khu vực có tầm chiến lược quan trọng nhất, nó uốn cong về phía sông Đông. Volgograd, trước đây là Stalingrad, nằm trong khu vực này.
 Sông Volga có nhiều sông nhánh, quan trọng nhất là các sông Kama, Oka, Vetluga và Sura. Sông Volga và các sông nhánh trong hệ thống sông Volga đảm bảo tưới tiêu cho một khu vực có diện tích khoảng 1,35 triệu km ² trong khu vực đông dân cư nhất của nước Nga. Vùng châu thổ sông Volga có chiều dài khoảng 160 km và bao gồm tới 500 kênh và sông nhỏ. Sông Volga bị đóng băng trong khoảng 3 tháng mỗi năm trên gần như toàn bộ chiều dài của nó.

P/S:
Cho dù thế nào, thì trong kí ức của những người từng sang Nga, Nga vẫn là 1 đất nước của mùa đông lạnh giá và tình cảm của người dân Nga thì nồng ấm hơn bao giờ hết. Ông dượng của tôi ngày trước cứ hay nhắc hoài về những cô gái Nga tóc tết bím và hay hát Kachiusa. Còn bản thân tôi, vẫn còn nhớ mãi những thỏi socola đen đắng cực kì ngon của Nga, những năm 80, VN chưa có bán socola nhiều như bây giờ. Và những món đồ chơi như con gà lên dây thiều, búp bê biết khóc biết cười của Nga, những trái châu và cây thông bạc Dượng gửi về từ Nga những năm đó, phải huy hoàng lắm mới có. Còn bà dì thì bộ váy cưới mà dượng mang về từ Nga tới nay đã hơn 20 năm, vẫn còn cất thật kĩ trong tủ đồ lưu niệm.

Volga River is the longest river in Europe. The source of Volga River is in Valdai hills in 400 km to the North-West from Moscow and in 20 km of picturesque road from the hotel “Vershina Seligera”, located at the shore of Seliger Lake.

Seliger Lake was formed as a result of glacier melting thousands years ago. It is a chain of up to 180 basins, connected to one another, stretching over 100 kilometers. There are over 160 islands within the lake.

The lake is situated at one of the 12 world greatest watersheds. Three major rivers of Europe start here: Volga flows towards East, Dnepr - towards South, Western Dvina - towards North.

The lake is frozen 5 months a year, usually from November to May, making snowmobiling, skiing and ice-fishing possible.

On the coast of Seliger Lake you get a fund of vivacity from this silent place among beautiful nature and also an opportunity to get acquainted with local historical and architectural monuments, being property of Russian culture.

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival at the hotel “Vershina Seligera” (4*) in Shalabaevo village. Check in. Accommodation in comfortable rooms. Leisure time. Welcome dinner with a wine-glass of homemade cranberry liqueur. Tea with grasses. Overnight in the hotel.(LD)

Day 2. Bus excursion to the source of Volga River(20 km away from the hotel). Visit to the church of St.Olga (XIX century). Visit to a local babushka (an old lady) in a village. Tea with homemade jam. In the evening – a concert of Russian romance (with a local singer). Overnight in the hotel. (BLD)

Day 3.
Bus excursion to Nilova Pustyn to visit a local monastery. Climbing the Bell Tower to observe landscapes. Lunch-picnic with tea, Russian vodka, pirozhki (pies). Ride back to the hotel. Leisure time. Overnight in the hotel. (BLD)

Day 4. Walking in the forest, picking up berries, mushrooms, swimming (in summer), ice-fishing, skiing, skating, tobogganing (in winter). Traditional Russian bath (banya) with birch brooms and tea with honey and “baranki”. Overnight in the hotel. (BLD)

Day 5. Exhibition and sale of paintings (the second half of the 20th century) by a local Russian painter. Check out of the hotel after lunch. (BL)

1. By car from Moscow through Ostashkov:


From Moscow – along the new Riga highway through Volokolamsk, Rzhev, Selizharovo or along the Leningradsky highway through Tver, Torzhok till Ostashkov town. In and behind Ostashkov - under indexes 'Peno camp sites” till the Pyramid (12 km after Ostashkov), then 40 km right up to the village Svapushche, further 6 km under index 'Vershina Seligera'. The whole way is around 430 km.

2. By car from St.Petersburg:

From St.Petersburg – along the Moscow highway till Yazhelbitci, then turn on the right for Demyansk, Molvotitci, Rovenitci, Svapushche. In Svapushche turn on the left under the index 'Vershina Seligera'. The whole way is around 430 km.

3. By bus through Ostashkov:
Bus Moscow - Ostashkov (departure from Moscow -metro station “Tushinskaya” 07:45 daily; arrival at Ostashkov 15:00)
